What if music ministry isn't
as complicated as you think?
There is an image portrayed of what a “successful” music ministry looks like, but is often unattainable for most churches with limited budgets and less than 200 members. Does that mean those churches are bound to have sub-par music ministries? God forbid!
The Chief Musician Alliance exists to encourage pastors, elders, and music ministers to use biblical principals in their ministry producing God-honoring and fruitful ministry.
We don’t claim to practice these principles perfectly, but we uphold them in our ministries. Faithful obedience doesn’t guarantee visible results or presume upon the Spirit’s work—but we long to see God move powerfully. As we remain committed to His Word, we trust the Spirit to sanctify His people and bless their labor.

We’re not claiming to have perfected the practice of these principles but we employ and promote their truth in our ministries. Striving to be faithful in our obedience does not guarantee the manifestation of the Spirit of God’s power. There is no presumption regarding what God will/won’t do in response to our efforts. However, we long to see God’s glorious work in our ministries; softening the hearts of his people, proclaiming and receiving the gospel and its’ power. Therefore, we trust that as we strive to be faithful to the truth of the instruction that God has given us in His Word, the Spirit will sanctify His people and their work in the process.
